Key Points

1 - Initially, an OBSERVATION

  1. Lack of knowledge about the realities of Europe and its functioning by most audiences.
  2. Marginal European approach in teaching and training
    1. in history and civic education: in France, analyses are too Franco-centric
    2. in geography: underrepresentation of the European space
    3. in languages: insufficient and unequal exposure resulting in weak performances
    4. across all disciplines and activities: secondary importance given to the development of European citizenship.

  2. its experiences in...
  3. its skills in...
To

3 - The Proposal of the Project Thirst for Europe

To anchor the European dimension in teaching, training, and exchanges

  1. set a mission:
    1. exchange remotely and on-site
    2. carry out observation and sharing mobilities
  2. with constructive objectives:
    1. on European institutions:
      1. discover their operating framework
      2. meet their stakeholders
    2. on other education systems:
      1. meet their management and field staff
      2. share respective approaches and practices.
